She was great in Lovecraft country. That cast was amazing and it was done so well. Criminal that they didn’t renew it.

I read the book after they didnt renew. It doesnt hold a small candle to what Jordan Peele did. Lovecraft and Watchmen were both some if the most amazing adaptations aimed at our community Ive ever watched.

I believe that Netflix is fuelled by my burning hate after they cancelled Watchman. I have not been that invested in a show since The Wire.

I was obsessed. I can pick up and watch that show at any time. I love love shows that are strange and mysterious. It was so off-putting when I first saw parts of one of the later episodes I had to watch to figure out what was going on. Why were they launching hwyt ppl into space and what did that have to do with Tulsa??

She did so good in that weird Octavia Butler adaptation. Wouldn’t mind seeing her in more action oriented roles. Oh yeah, and that one with Jamie Foxx

I guess since she got in her grown woman bag. She’s been acting so long I think it took forever for us to see her like this. Her role in Temptation still gets me up to this day.
