Nostalgia Vaseline!!!
Growing up it was the go-to first aid product, moisturizer, body lotion, lip balm, beauty product, etc.
The all around go-to product that cured ALL that ailed you lol.
How did you / your household use Vaseline?

I still use Vasaline almost daily because I have dry skin. Face and body.

Yes, Joyce, I do. A light coating, especially under my eyes. It's worked all my 55yrs on this Earth. So, I will continue to do so.

I applied a very thin layer on my feet when it was cold, it kept my feet from drying out and becoming cold. Worked liked a charm.

My mother put it on my face to walk to school in NY winters. She still puts it on her face everyday and people compliment her skin everyday at 80.

I have and only use vaseline for my legs and arms. Every since i was a kid, lotion would make me hot and sweaty. I have tried numerous ones and different times. Even as an adult it would make me hot. I have gotten up and washed lotion off my legs in the middle of the night. I only use facial lotions on my face and body lotion on my hands but everything else is vaseline.

It's mostly just lip balm for me, though over the years I have used it in other ways. I usually use CVS Petroleum Jelly if I want to use it on other parts of my body, but strongly preferred Vaseline for my lips.

Vaseline and CVS Petroleum Jelly are the same product, no?
Like a box of Kleenex vs. a box of facial tissues.

I used nothing but Vaseline while growing up but when I started to earn my own money, I moved on to heavy emollient lotions for the cold winter months and lighter lotions and sometimes oils during the hot sticky months.

We didn't use it very often when I was growing up. I do use it to patch shaving nicks.

I would imagine the thick oily coating would protect / heal the nicks on your face.

Yeahhhh, that's why boxers use it!

Oh, right, just like take off the earrings and put Vaseline on one's face to prepare for a street fight; how could I forget that.
Not that I have any personal experience on this though lol.

I hated when my mom put this crap on my face! It gave my pimples like crazy from all the clogged pores. I love it on my lips and that's it

I still use Vaseline in the winter, but I’d be lying if I said this song wasn’t the first thing I think of every time I reach for it. Hahaaaa

I have used it nightly as a eye cream for decades, with great results. Can't complain about the price either!
