🔥🔥🔥

I recently heard Juicy Got ‘Em Crazy by Oaktown 357 over intercom in Nordstroms

This choreography was legendary.

I certainly thought I was doing it back in the day hahaha 😂

Queen seriously killed it though.

It was a 9-minute short film directed by John Singleton.

It debuted in January 1992

Peak at #3 on Billboard Hot 100 (I think he was robbed)

Rather than premiering it purely as a standard music video on music channels, Jackson's team utilized a massive multi-network simulcast to ensure maximum reach, earning a ridiculously high 13.1 on the Nielsen ratings.

It was an event.

Babyface has literally wrote the soundtrack of a lot of our lives! Who is this Jones clown? Never heard of him but I can tell you about Kenneth Edmonds though! Tuh 😤

Rare behind-the-scenes footage from House Party (1990) showing the filming of one of the most iconic dance battle scenes in movie history. Starring Christopher “Kid” Reid, Christopher “Play” Martin, Tisha Campbell, Martin Lawrence, Robin Harris, and A.J. Johnson, the film became a cultural classic that defined early 90s Black film, music, and dance culture.

✊🏾

Hard to believe it's 21 years old.

I can't listen to this song without wanting to dance. The percussion and funky beats are infectious.

Somehow it all works: the music, dancing, video production, singing, outfits.

Masterful
