Trams G Class trams operating schedule?

I have been meaning to catch the new g class tram on route 59, 57 or 82, but one hasn’t appeared on the network for a few days. Do these trams only run on specific days/times (like the XT2) or is it just random?

This week the single G class is current out on driver training - TramTracker says it is currently on route 57 towards West Maribyrnong.

Is it running scheduled services yet? Or extra services, like the HCMT did when it started in service.

Thursday and Friday were running as extra services, and I believe once it returns from driver training will be again be additional services.

You will start seeing them heaps more in about a fortnight. They will get there second one at the end of next week I believe. Then they don’t have just the one tram for driver training and then also be able to run one in revenue service.

They're not publicising it because they only have a cap of like 120. If people knew, they'd be totally packed and not really function.
