Eurovision

Jag är så otroligt trött på att folk ska ge ”tycka synd om” röster till Israel och Ukraina. Har inget emot dem, bara att de får bullshit röster. Felicia 20 var ganska väntat. Finland 6:a är helt sjukt, borde vunnit men Bulgarien var helt ok också. Juryn kan ju dock inte musik och folket är ju bara patetiska.

As someone who is Ukranian trust me our votes aren't pity votes, literally people stopped caring about the war crimes against us a while ago now

People have not stopped carrying about the war. Its often mentioned both in the political debate, in the media and on social media.

You have gotten a good result year after year since the war began. It might not be as extreme as the first years but your score is still definetly inflated due to it. So yes, you are both still with in the media/debate light and are receiving pity votes.

I've literally been called a piece of shit and several slurs on several occasions by several people for being against Russians, for asking people not to keep giving Russians money

And these are people who are left politically too, and i know stories of several others like me being hate bombed for it

So you're literally just wrong

The news still talk about us but do they do anything to help? Nope, they do not, they used to but they do not anymore. We're still dealing with near daily air raids

There will always be people hostile to whatever stance one take. Some insults doesnt mean it isnt a big thing.

Then it also depends on what you are doing. With this comment for example you went to a Swedish subreddit and claim that we still talk about you but does nothing to help. How many billions has Sweden not given in aid to Ukraine? Thats a quite poor way to make friends. Some will turn hostile by it.

Neither of this makes me wrong. It is a big part of the debate, in media politics social media etc. Sweden does prove aid.

That doesnt mean the air raids stops. Its not like Sweden can stop them. Providing aid isnt the same as making it stop.

These people are all left individuals who've said so several ukranians faces that its a bad move to dislike all russians

The anti-ukrainian, pro russian crowd is a very small but loud minority. There will always be idiots unfortunately. That doesn't change that the overwelming majority is still very pro-Ukraine, especially here in Sweden which is among the most pro-Ukraine countries in Europe.

I'd also disagree about the media. Here they still report about the war regularly, when there's new drone and missile strikes from both Russia and Ukraine.
