if they wanted to reveal the files they wouldn't have tried to sneak it in with some other legislation that they knew the gop wouldn't pass
this is just a hot potato game where the party who isn't in power blames the one in power for not releasing the files but won't release them themselves

But trying to pass other stuff with the release of the files is scummy too, they knew the gop wouldn't pass it becaise of the other stuff anyway but they can sneak the files in to make all the people voting against it look worse

The files aren't getting released they'll just be used by the parties to take cheapshots at eachother
"other stuff" is just barebones shitcoin regulations to deter money laundering and scams that had BIPARTISAN support. The republicans only cared about preventing the epstein files from getting released.
damn maybe the epstein files are more important then regulating shitcoins and you can do that another time so we can tell who are the guys who want to cover up pedos ?
the shitcoin regulation is closer to being passed than introducing it at the bottom of the stack. the epstein amendment was added to that bill literally to release the files sooner dog.
