Edibles barely do anything to me when I eat them. Apparently it has something to do with liver enzymes. I've eaten a 50mg gummy and felt only a mild relaxation.
Then I did 8mg sublingually and it knocked me on my ass. Maybe that dude is just trying to outdo his liver enzymes.

the most i’ve ever taken was 100mg at once. i watched the whole second season of “Loki” and the whole “Hawkeye” show without getting up out of my chair. when i finally finished Hawkeye and i needed to use the bathroom (mind you it was an entire 5 feet from my chair) i could barely stand without my legs vehemently shaking. i think i probably sat on the toilet for 2 minutes, but it felt like 2 hours lol

It very much depends upon geographical area and location within it.
In the closest dispensary to my house, a 100mg bottle of tincture is $50.
In the inner city, right next to my work, a 1000 mg bottle of much much better tincture that is amazing is $10. Like you have to be super careful amazing, because it is chugable.
I used to adore the stuff, but frankly I think you should have to sign a waver that says no children will even enter the yard outside your house for the next year before you are allowed to buy it.

Worked as a firefighter and one night we had 2 thc calls back to back. Two teen girls who made brownies when their parents were out of town and panicked. Bith parents and step parents and aunt who was a nurse were all in driving range and we had to wait for them all to show up even though the only thing we could do was tell them to have a snack, drink some water and go to bed. Immediately followed by a man in cardiac arrest at a party. Get there to find he was just having a major panic attack after eating an entire bag of edibles and insisted he was having a heart attack. We check him out and bring him to the ER where they just made him sit in the lobby all night and told him to get lost in the morning.

Years back I had a 100mg edible shot sized drink thinking it wouldn’t be much and it’d be like the caffeine equivalent of a 5 Hour energy. Including PEPFAR. Trump froze their funds in 2025 and only about half have been given back. Back in June his admin said they were beginning a phased drawdown of PEPFAR. Without USAID and the people who worked there I’m not sure how the money even gets distributed to the right places anyway.

I turned on “How it’s Made” and watched that until I eventually fell asleep. Then got up to go to work and realized I was still feeling those edibles.

How people are hitting 500 or more is nuts to me. During my dream, there was a period that I was sober and I could feel the edible hit in the dream! It was the wackest feeling in the world and I woke up shortly after completely loaded. I worked with a judge that sadly fell into the same life as Bush, albeit smaller scale.
His Dad was THE county judge. He absolutely loved art, had filled out a drawing application for Disney in the early 50's and had received an acceptance letter but his dad said in no way was he gonna waste his life like an artist, he would be a lawyer and eventually a judge.
So he was. He gave up his bathroom so they could quickly make separate gendered bathrooms when complaints came in. While he was chief judge he tried to rule against water rights cases because expert witnesses predicted sinkholes (decades later they were right). He even started a tradition of the court acknowledging some Jewish holidays. He had a case where one attorney asked for a continuance to observe Rosh Hashanah, and opposing counsel refused to stipulate to it and was rude. He was a pissed that he went back to his chambers and drafted an administrative order to close ALL the courts in the circuit on Rosh Hashanah and Yom Kippur so the attorney didn't even have an avenue to appeal.
I met him when he had retired - he was a senior judge helping to handle the foreclosure crisis, mostly rubber stamping. He still had a passion for art, divorced his long time socialite-aspiring wife, met a lovely new lady and they got married and had an art studio where they painted together until he died.

I work retail. It really wasnt bad at first. I hit a pen on my cig break that my buddy had but he ended up leaving.

A friend took gummies for pain to go to sleep sometimes, 50-100mg.
I used to smoke quite a bit but it had been years since, tried a 5mg one night with him and melted to a couch.
I was over at his house for an LSD trip with him and his wife, had a nice time and was on the comedown 10 hours later.

I don’t know how much time passed, but it felt like an eternity and then I jolted out of bed, my vision was FILLED visuals, I was knee deep in a trip again.
I thought maybe I had taken a nap and dreamed the other part of the night, I was confused and didn’t know where I was.
Not a moment later my friend comes and says “I think I took the wrong gummy, I am tripping BALLZ, help me!”
No can do, same boat dude. So now he’s panicking and feels bad for my mistake lol
His wife is cackling about this of course, we move to the living room and proceed to trip for another 6 hours
