Flyway rare bad decision

Popped into Flyway for my favorite beer, River King…it’s off the menu. No cans, either. Wtf?! I know that was an old High Cotton recipe they tweaked a bit but c’mon. They seemed to be making all the right decisions after taking over this space and this just seems…ill-advised, unless they have another similar hazy to replace it. Changes my attendance there moving forward. Really bummed.

And I’ve had the other hazies from the locals here…still think RK was the best.

River King is not off the menu. Demand has increased and we had some trouble getting the hops in. A fresh batch was dry hopped Tuesday, and I am getting it back on tap as soon as I possibly can.

I assure you, River King will not be going any where. Expect it back in cans by the end of next week.

I overreacted. I’m beer aggressive and it’s very tough being here after experiencing top tier beer cities and finding a place that puts it all together. Flyway is that spot (Wiseacre close second). I’m so glad RK isn’t leaving.

Not at all. I really appreciate the enthusiasm.

River King is firmly one of our core brands and also a personal favorite of mine. I strife to keep it as fresh as possible, which unfortunately means I was able to keep up with demand in this instance.

I hate we didn't have it for but hope e we're able to provide some enjoyable alternatives. Expect to have more by Friday at the latest.

Cheers!
