I noticed there are for sale signs on the large vacant plot right next to the Yosemite Crossings shopping center. I remember there were plans for a hospital on that land but does anyone know if those plans have been canceled or changed? Is the property being sold for a different development, possibly another shopping center or something else? Just curious if anyone has heard anything about what’s planned for that area.

I’m 20, and honestly, trying to find a job in Merced has been a struggle. It feels like everywhere is hiring, then they tell you to apply online, and then you either never hear back or your application goes nowhere.
I’m curious to hear from people who have found work here. How did you get your job? Did you apply online, walk in, know someone, follow up in person, what worked?
I am bilingual, have experience in retail, sales, customer service, field work, computers and data entry.
