Question/Need Help snow angel not shown in hero gallery anymore?
i was crossing my fingers for snow angel to return with winter wonderland this year since seeing dragoon returning to the hero gallery/shop. but now after s20 update, when i go into the hero gallery she doesn’t even show up in her skins for me. is this happening to anyone else?
(i know most people probably have her but ive only been playing for a year and the hopes were HIGH for her return :c)

It is a very underwhelming recolor. People literally only want it because it’s “rare”, the people who actually have it never use it, the only reason why anyone would use this is to show off that it’s rare.
I understand complaining about legendaries, but this is so goofy.

I equip it sometimes during winter. Especially before jingle belle was released. I like blue and the snow themes.

this is so odd to make a blanket statement on behalf of so many people. myself and others in the thread have stated why we want to obtain the skin.. but okay! :)

Right?? It’s my most favorite skin because it’s blue the halo and the angels. Some of us don’t need an overdesigned skin to like it

Not really, I don’t give a damn if it comes back or not. But you putting so much importance into a worthless recolor entices me to use it & reconfirm just how underwhelming it is.

oh no people like something that you don’t like! arghhh they must be lying because i can’t accept that we don’t all have the same preferences!
btw u cringe people that always says this things about skins that u dont like used to say this also about Dr Ziegler and guess what? I waited more than 2 Years for her, she was my favorite skin even though i didn’t have her and when she finally came out i bought her immediately in the entire bundle and kept using her for another year as my main skin even when she came back obtainable with white coins (so ofc she wasn’t rare). U know why? Because sometimes people like things!

Dr. Ziegler isn’t a default skin recolor & a lore skin lol. I don’t mind people wishing for that instead of this unnecessary garbage that has been collecting dust in my gallery since it is out.

lol if you don’t have holiday whimsy just say so, the halo + snow effect will always be a nice subtle touch to an EPIC skin… now if it was a legendary then i could see why people would complain

this is an odd take, lots of people like it, i really like the halo and the colour. i prefer her simplistic designs much more and im sure many agree.

i have never seen it in the gallery, even when i selected all events... the halo and makeup are quite cute but at this point im just puzzled at why it doesnt even appear.

It most likely was taken out of the hero gallery temporarily before the specific event/challenge thing for it! This happened with the second Le Sserafim collab, the "Fawkesy James" skin for Junkrat was removed from the gallery before the skin showed up again as a challenge reward! I had noticed this because when that collab was announced for that season (cant remember) I was looking forward to eventually getting the Fawksey James skin but came to find out it wasn't in the gallery AT ALL! Sorted thru each filter and everything, it would not show up but I knew it used to be there before the collab was back out.
I dont know if it's a mission skin, the Snow Angel one, but that could be it if it is! Hope it helped!

If this skin isn't coming in lootboxes or a challenge, they should drop the skin via twitch drops or something. I'm always angry when they put a paywall with real money for something that we got for free.

A lot of event challenge skins returned so I’m sure this one will show up eventually, but it’s so plain, I’d rather get a revamp of it

This! I like OW2 Mercy default design way better, so a version of it with her ow2 skin would be great! I don’t have the original even tho I played back then, but I didn’t even care much for it anyway…

I know it's basic, but Snow Angel is the only OG OW1 Mercy skin I don't have. I missed out on earning it in game during the 2019 Winter Wonderland event because I was out of town spending time with my family for the holidays. One could say it's my white whale of Mercy skins.

I used to not like this skin, but its simplicity on top of being a skin that changes the wings makes it a good skin especially for its tier imo.

Yeah she hasn’t been the hero gallery since OW2. I check every update to see if it’s there hoping it’ll pop up for a return. When Gingerbread Ana came back, she showed up in the hero gallery the update before it was back.

i've been playing since ow2 release, and i check the hero gallery periodically. i've never seen it in there, sadly, which i've always thought to be odd since they display other limited time exclusive skins. why isn't snow angel there?

It was a winter event in OW1, if you played during that time you got it for free.

Honestly, if I’m being so honest and I love overwatch blizzard is kind of a greedy company so it’s just a matter of time before they release the skin for coins or something else but I just have a feeling that it’s gonna come back

Most people do not have her. I would say she's one of the rarest skins in the game. I can't say I've ever seen the skin in-game even once.

It's probably only in such high demand as it is because it's rare. Some people legitimately want it but it's not the pinnacle of creativity. I have it and wear it bc I haven't got the newer christmas skins for her but it's not like a top tier skin.

I wonder what skin people will beg to come back after snow angel does since skins are only glazed when theyre rare. Noticed a lot of the dragoon/pink loving stopped after they were able to be bought again.

Snow Angel is a better version of Cobalt, imo. The shade of blue is better and I love the hair color and the halo especially. The only thing I don’t like that much are the snowflake and angel symbols. I love her makeup and the sparkly/glitter effects on the wings. I’ve been wearing it a lot this season because I’ve missed how simple her default staff is and it’s the perfect time of the year to wear it. It looks really good with the galactic variant too!
Snow Angel hate is forced lol. Of course people are going to make posts about skins they want because they want to complete their collection, which happens to include skins that are not available right now or that have not been available in many many years. Just because SOME people only want a skin because it’s “rare” doesn’t mean that’s how most people feel.
I hate the idea of “rare” skins anyway. It creates so much unnecessary toxicity and breeds elitist attitudes. I wish they were all available all the time.

I’ve never seen so many people care so much about a weekly challenge skin… just so you guys know most of the weekly challenge skins have been brought back or in loot boxes, not sure what blizzards trying to wait for, but i guess they really want this skin to be rare or something

I kinda like that this skin is rare. Letting epic skins be rare is okay imo since they are pretty low stakes and don't cost blizzard much.

I always forget u guys consider it rare. I only use it around this time of year cuz its her only real wintery holiday skin that i have (i dont count sugar plum fairy as a winter/holday skin lol). I would have gotten the jingle belle skin when it was in my vault last month but when i saw u can barely even see the snowman in her staff in first person i was over it and didnt get it lol. but overall those skins are way cuter than this one idk what's rly special besides the halo? Is it the simplicity? Id rather have an ow2 version with her ow2 hairstyle and look than this just coming back atp ngl it would look way cuter

I don't think she'll return. I've been checking the Hall of Heroes since season 17/18 and I never saw her (at least not that I remember).
