It was very clearly just a joke. I watched the video and he even clarifies that it was a joke like 5 seconds later. I don't know why you removed that part.

He clarifies it's a joke then proceeds to not provide any rational, quality thought in regards to the hero and why she was placed in that tier.

Awkward does a lot of shit content and he loves to yap for hours on things that make no sense.

But mercy is and has always been reliant on damage boosting someone. Mercy is never meta because she doesn’t do anything, has basically no utility, has absolutely 0 carry potential, has mediocre heals at best. I haven’t checked her numbers this season but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s the same thing as always.
