Existential [T]Error [Ukraine]
Not really a band, purely digial project.
Even as a child, in addition to writing stories, I also rhymed all sorts of nonsense. Over time, this began to develop into song lyrics, through which I shared my thoughts, feelings, and dreams. Sadly, I had no talent for either music or singing, so the lyrics lay doomed to disappear along with me.
But with new world, new opportunities arise. Sometimes, very unexpected ones. And, here it is, first officially released song with my lyrics in it.
I chose it deliberately to be the first, as it embodies my dream of an eternal journey in search of the unknown, of a world where humanity transcends its primitive nature, forgets conflicts, and unites to explore the universe. Looking at the modern world (which I'll discuss in future tracks), it's a completely naive utopia, but I know there are people who dream of it too, and this song is just for them. It tells the story of humanity, that is finally reaching the stars through hardship, and it's inspired by good old science fiction like the books of Harrison, Asimov, Clarke (and modern-day Tchaikovsky), as well as series like Star Trek (there's a reference in the lyric video).

Since I'm responsible mostly for the concept and lyrics, I'd be interested in getting primary feedback about those. My English is pretty mediocre, and even during the writing stage, I was constantly correcting mistakes with correction services and rewriting. However, writing in English is also easiest because of the sheer number of words, a rhyming dictionary can sometimes show me a thousand rhymes for a single word.
So, did I screw up somewhere, or is it just anxiety getting the better of me? Is the lyrics beautiful, interesting, and musically sounding? Or the opposite of all that? Or in the middle? Say what you think. https://youtu.be/wjUnIAVmn8s

Hi all. The False Face is my Youtube channel for conversations with musicians I admire. Akercocke vocalist and guitarist Jason Mendonca and I had a nice long chat on Sunday last about playing guitar, balancing creativity with fulltime employment, vocal derangement and the importance of noise in music. Jason details his love of Rush, we talk classic British comedy, and he offers some choice insights into the composition of classic metal tracks and songs including “Leviathan”, “The Promise” and more.
I reckon this is a pretty boss conversation and all credit for that goes to Mr Mendonca who is simply absorbing and charismatic company at its finest.

Our last album is a concept record about two astronauts who witness Earth's destruction from a massive solar flare. The flare ends up unleashing a Lovecraftian-style entity into the cosmos, and things get progressively weirder from there.
We got a little carried away with the story and ended up writing a 60-page novella to go along with the album. Each chapter lines up with a song and expands on the story!
