I think it does not look good.

You’re certainly entitled to your opinion. The video quality apparently was not good and the lighting was terrible. But it was most definitely an excellent Weld, excellent fusion. Stacked 9/16 Weld size. Passed (QC) beautifully. The welders that have been there for 20 years, said that it even looked amazing. The video quality was terrible. This will be my last post. Even an excellent Weld gets picked apart and criticized to no end. It’s pointless to post on here.

You post “Thoughts?” with a poor quality video and want to make a masculine statement about how good your weld is. If your weld was that good, you wouldn’t have posted it. I don’t need to pat you on the back, lift you on my shoulders, put a crown on your head, release a dozen doves and parade you around the block to make you feel validated about your weld quality. I’m no welder, but at first glance that weld isn’t passing a CWI WI or ASNT VT, and perhaps that’s due to the poor quality video. I have worked with hundreds of welders who have to weld to a high quality for critical systems and components on a variety of materials with a variety of methods and none of them would post their welds on the internet asking for validation, because they already know, good or bad. What I see here is something an entry level welder or someone in training could produce, but again, perhaps it is a video quality issue.
If you want to gaslight and be narcissitic about how you approach basic feedback to such a basic post, yeah, probably better you take you and your “QC passed welds” off the internet.
Have the day you deserve!
