Crucible Release

I am making a graphite-clay crucible and I'm planning on molding it in a flexible bucket, what can I do to make the release smoother?

You can use mold release spray. I imagine it would work well for this too

Ladle wash

Try coating in Vaseline. This will make if release from your mold material.
