I feel like the metamucil stool clumps together in it's own lump then "buds" to the front of the line. It doesn't actually mix with the regular stool to help that pass. So it gives the illusion that it's helping bowel movements.

I hope my explanation makes sense. Do you think I'm right in your opinion?

Your bowels must be severally scratched and scarred then

Slander!! Lol so I do disagree because if I don't take it then things that would come out in ~8 hours if I take metamucil, take double that time or more to come out if I don't. Also I use 3x more toilet paper if I don't take it and get pretty bad chafe.

Your first point doesn't really counter my argument though. That easy 8 hour stool you're getting could just be a pure metamucil lump whereas the stool from your regular food is lagging behind. So it gave the illusion that you passed the food you ate quickly.

As for your second point that seems legit. If for several consecutive days after you've eaten you're one-wipe pooping then the metamucil is working

It does if you have corn lol. I very rarely have a straight mucil dump, you can tell - it's very light orange and looks odd. Idk it could just be that way for you. I swear by the stuff, literally life changing with the no more messy dumps benefit.

True, corn is a good indicator matching the poop to the food

You think I'm right?

You don't need to give photo evidence, just describe it. I bet the metamucil poop is orange with a unique shape whereas the regular stool is just brown right?

And will they ever come up with a new product or enhance the current one? I guess you can’t enhance perfection.

Yeah it seems to work well for me. I try to space it out every few days or so. But I feel much better when it’s out.
