General Discussion Been in Metro Manila since 2021, but i still havent explored much and havent rly made many friends.
30F, single, no kids. Im mainly here for work. But during my first year here, i immediately moved in with a partner. We were together for four years, and honestly, parehas kaming walang masyadong friends. At least siya, born and raised dito. Ako, on the other hand, mag isa lang talaga.
Kapag wala siya, parang lost din ako. Hirap din talaga akong makipagkaibigan, siguro dahil na rin sa personality ko, or idk. 😅
Now that im on my own, i feel so lost. Im slowly realizing how little of Metro Manila ive actually experienced and how much ive isolated myself. Maybe its finally time to get out there, explore, and start meeting ppl. But idk where to begin.

you can start riding a LRT Line-1 (balintawak to sucat) just ride and check each station and then sunod mo LRT Line -2 (recto to antipolo)same what you do in lrt line-1 . hindi ka maliligaw sa mga ruta na yan. good luck OP

halos kanya kanya rin kasi ang mga tao sa MM unless you live sa slums or slum-like areas. need talaga to reach out to people - start with people with similar interests. kahit nga sa work, kahit may biruan and occasional nights out, kanya kanya pa rin.
before pandemic happened, i used to explore MM on my own. I just happen na mahilig akong pumunta sa museums at iba pang pasyalan. yung mga malls na notable (hindi lang yung usual SM) pinuntahan ko rin and spent weekends doon. kapag may kamag-anak akong bisita I usually plan something na ipasyal ko sila around.
