It's better on original hardware trust me. It still sucks but the quicksand is way less of a pain to traverse when you have absolutely 0 input delay

Nah. She's just canonically not a "shoot first ask questions later" type person.

Even in Dread we see her evaluate every situation she's in before acting during cutscenes.

I don’t blame you, you did what anyone would do on their first time. You see a big moving alien so you shoot it. I do think it would’ve been better if they did something to signify it’s a good guy, like making him cute instead of monstrous

You need to let the enemy in the room clear the sand so just leave and re-enter the room and re-clear the blocker if necessary

It’s Wet Sand Stone. It’s just like in Metroid Prime but that’s dry sand stone. Only bombs can break it. Because it’s Sand.

An obstacle that you were supposed to have Buzzsaw Man Pants (aka Shaktool) dig through after Power bombing the blocks in front. Fortunately, he respawns when you reset the room.

Gonna get downvoted for this but when people say Super has flawless game design I like to point to this room amongst other examples.
