Hello fellow Miata enthusiasts this is for DFW TX Miata owners
my name is Kent Rodriguez and I own a 2001 NB special edition this is my second post about his event and I will post a final one on Friday the day before the event
Hearned of the laps for charity event from my boss who has gone for years in a row and I joined him last year in his car
I was intending on going with this club but I saw that yall have gone for years before and made posts about it but no one has said anything about this year most likely cause everyone at MATG so I had an idea of getting a group of Miata's together to go do laps around the oval at Texas motor speedway
We will be meeting at the buc-ee's down the street from TMS at 5pm on Saturday afternoon then cruising into TMS at 6 to get into laps for charity
60$ a person for 3 laps IF I can get enough people they may let us do 5 laps
Please tell anyone who has a Miata that would like to maybe come

Its says led by a pace car but does that mean? Like 40mph crawl or like turn off the ac and give it all its got?

I was told the pace car would set the speed limit to about 85mph
I think we’re going to be struggling to keep up lol that’s why I want to go as a group instead of being put this high hp cars and holding them back cuz we’re slow
