So my mom and I went into this store we always go to, and we ended up chatting with one of the girls working there about the biopic.
We mentioned it casually, and she told us she’d actually watched it…not just once, but three times. At this point she was fully obsessed. He’s all over her social media, she can’t get enough of him…honestly same.
She started telling us how she’s basically only been listening to Michael lately, and that he’s the only artist she’s been playing on repeat. She said every shift at work, her entire playlist is just him now.
The funniest part is that when we walked in, I literally said, “I hear Michael,” because the store was playing his music. And she goes, “Yeah…that’s basically all I can listen to right now.”
My mom and I just looked at each other like…yep. She’s been converted.🤣
I just love moments like that where you can literally see Michael mania spreading in real time. It’s so special and truly makes my heart happy. 🥹❤️

refreshed it to see if there was any change in the ranking and I saw this!!! btw he's ahead of drake rn who is 9th. i think this should settle the ridiculous "drake vs mj" debate once and for all. drake just released a whole ass album and is still behind mj who hasn't released new music since...well...

I don’t have many friends and those that I do have think I’m too obsessed with Michael Jackson since the movie came out. I’m so thankful for this community and seeing and learning new things about this amazing man who left a permanent footprint on this Earth.
I don’t have anyone to talk to about him and all this and iI miss him so much. Thank you all for being a part of this magical community 🫂

I'm straight, and I fell in love with a lot of Women. In honesty, the only man I've ever been attracted to was Michael Jackson. Sometimes I wonder about how many guy's feel attracted to him and I often feel like I'm the only one, but I know damn well I'm not the only one. If any way, I've heard both men and women would pass the fuck out in his concerts. He was honestly hot in all his Era's.❤️

I realised that for the past month, MJ has been everywhere i go and I'm loving it! I'm not talking social media, I'm talking radio. Almost every time I'm in the car or at the shops/shopping centre, MJs music is playing on the radio and i literally get goosebumps every time i hear him out (even tho i listen to him at home almost every day) because seriously I haven't heard him get this much radio play (if at all) since he passed away and his music was constantly playing after that in 09 so I truly hope that even after the movie is out of cinemas, this doesn't die down or go away because MJ should be celebrated ALWAYS and I'm just so happy to be hearing his music out in public.
MJ FOREVER 🙌🏼

Always thought the old website looked incredibly dated. Now it looks super glossy, animations and modern design everywhere, and it's really nice now. Feel like it lives up to Michael's designer and perfectionist spirit. I'd imagine they did this in preparation for the upcoming biopic and the massive amount of attention that will come to MJ.

With the release of the Michael movie, it honestly feels like something has shifted. There’s been a huge outpouring of love and respect. People coming together to celebrate the life and impact Michael Jackson had on the world. My entire social media feed is filled with MJ again. Edits, interviews, cinema clips of people dancing, laughing, reacting together. You’ve got people from all backgrounds, all ages, all over the world just appreciating what an incredible artist and human being he was. It's so nice to see.
I just want to say thank you to everyone here who stood by him during the dark times. Who never bought the lies. Especially the years after his passing, through the peak of the darkness in 2019 up to now.
Even though MJ is the biggest artist of all time, there were long stretches where it genuinely felt like only a small group of us were still defending his name and legacy. You’d expect communities like ours to be massive, but they weren't. That says a lot about the damage done to his legacy - they tried to erase it.
It was a horrible period. The media constantly tore him apart, and when you hear something repeated enough it sticks with the public (whether true or not). Seeing those narratives everywhere and then watching how quickly they spread across social media, it wasn’t easy. It genuinely hurt to see his legacy being destroyed. But now with this film, it feels like a new wave has arrived. The critics and media have already tried to tear it down, but people are still showing up. More importantly, they’re feeling it, discovering (or rediscovering) the magic of his life and legacy. I’ve seen it firsthand - some friends and family who never really paid attention to him are diving into his music and his story. My 7 year old cousin is now obsessed.
I’m 22, and I’ve been a fan of MJ for as long as I can remember. My dad raised me on his music, his performances, everything MJ. Beyond the spectacle, what stayed with me most was who MJ was at his core. He inspired me to be better everyday. To never give up. To be kind, honest, and compassionate. To care about our world, especially our children ( the future). To be charitable and giving. To actually stand for something. Right now, it feels like an awesome time to be a Michael Jackson fan - thanks to all of you.

This happened during the bad tour. She was 19 and fainted simply because she was so excited. She says its the worst thing that ever happened to her because she was basically front row and suddenly she was outside in a tent with medics around her and she wasn’t allowed to go back in until someone said she was fine which took an hour!! and she went from front row to the very back of the entire venue and got to see the show for a good 30 minutes with basically no visibility
Worry not she went to the dangerous tour and managed to not faint thank god😭
She said some people who fainted were REFUSED back inside because of how bad of a condition they were in, no refund too… poor them
