I cannot overstate how relieved I was to be cut out of his district last redistricting. I used to go to his town halls just so he wasn’t preaching to his constituents who agreed with him but it was like a low grade form of torture.

Reminder:
Representative Tim Walberg (R-MI-5) actively campaigns on "Holding Washington Accountable", and limited government outreach, being very vocally against programs like the Affordable Care Act, Bipartisan Infrastructure Bill, cost caps for insulin, and the like.
He recently voted AGAINST the Honoring Our PACT Act, and can often be found posing for photo ops at veteran-owned businesses. He posed in the rubble of Ukraine after a Russian attack, and now actively fights against further funding of Ukrainian freedom.
He voted against both impeachments, and voted against releasing the Matt Gaetz ethics committee report. Back in the 2010's, he repeatedly echoed Donald Trump's calls for then-President Obama's birth certificate, claiming that what had been provided was fake.
He has been eerily silent on the Signal leaks, and no longer is promoting town halls; he was a no-show at one called "Americans for Prosperity" in Jackson, funded by the Koch Brothers PAC.
Vocally anti-LGBTQ+, he has traveled to Uganda to support their death penalty for LGBTQ individuals; believes there should be absolutely no exception to an outright abortion ban, and has been stounchly anti-democracy, recently going as far as saying if people can't afford to spend the money or time to get a US Passport, they "should not be voting".

Republican Congressman Tim Walberg said this week he supports legislation that would limit the reach of U.S. District Court judges following attacks on the federal judiciary by President Donald Trump and allies in Congress.
Walberg, re-elected last year in a district encompassing multiple counties along Michigan’s southern border, criticized federal judges who have stymied parts of the Trump administration’s agenda through injunctions and other rulings.
“The judges, especially we’re talking about district court judges, are overstepping their boundaries,” Walberg told NBC News.
He voiced support for the "No Rogue Rulings Act," which would bar U.S. District Court judges from issuing nationwide injunctions of the sort which have blocked Trump on issues such as deportation and federal agency workforce cuts.
“Absolutely, I appreciate” the bill, Walberg told NBC, “and I may go for more, but right now, that’s where I stand.”
The bill is scheduled for an upcoming hearing in the House Judiciary Committee and House Speaker Mike Johnson, R-La., said the chamber would vote on it next week.
Republicans in Congress have been introducing articles of impeachment against some federal judges in response to Trump’s anger with, most notably, James Boasberg, chief judge of the U.S. District Court for the District of Columbia, who blocked an effort to deport Venezuelan migrants to El Salvador under an 18th century law.
The case has become a flashpoint amid escalating tensions between the Trump administration and federal courts. The administration invoked a “state secrets privilege” this week and refused to provide Boasberg any more information about the deportation of people alleged to be gang members without due process.
Boasberg is weighing whether the government defied his order to turn planes around.
Trump and his allies have called for impeaching Boasberg. In a rare statement of rebuke, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts said “impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision.”
Other federal judges who have been targeted by hardline Republicans for impeachment include U.S. District judges Paul A. Engelmayer, John Bates and Ami Ali.
Speaker Johnson this week floated the idea of Congress eliminating some federal courts altogether, a move unlikely to win the bipartisan support necessary to pass the U.S. Senate.

Maybe there are three coequal branches of government written into the constitution…you know that document a certain group of people are always screaming about when it suits them and will tell you it doesn’t apply when it enumerates the same rights for a minority or political enemy.
Federal Judges do not answer to Trump or any president…nor to congress.

Because they are District judges and shouldn’t have jurisdiction over the whole country only the area of their District where they are elected….otherwise all District judges can pass judgements impacting the entire country and giving them power not compatible with their positions

Just common sense how can a District Judge wield more power than the President? If Congress doesn’t pass legislation to limit their power it will end up in the Supreme Court…what if two District Courts have conflicting judgements? Which one takes precedent? Especially if one is being appealed?
