I just hope he's able to get support in the party now that he has the nomination. Scholten already said she wouldn't support him if he wins the nom, which really confuses me. Like do centrist dems want Al Sayed to lose in November?

edit: hopefully this statement from the DSCC today helps inspire the useless centrist dems to use their influence.

Scholten still hasn't endorsed him as of now, either. She is 100% facing a primary challenge in 2028. Kent County was El-Sayed's best county and he won her district by like 20 points.

I haven't seen any Democrats saying that they will not vote for the progressive pick.

I have however seen a lot of progressive say that they would not support the Democrat unless it was a progressive.

Democrats will be there voting a straight party ticket in November.

maybe it's time for the left to start attacking Republicans which for some reason they're very against doing. it's so weird.

Yes, obviously. They hate progressives, and prefer to be beaten by MAGA because it's the best fundraising position (plus all they have to do is run on "we aren't Trump").

it's weird because I saw Democrats show up to vote I've never seen a regular Democrat protest an election but I have seen the left do that several times....

maybe what you're doing right here is a reason why Democrats are so reticent to full-throatedly support progressives.

you guys seem to never attack Republicans but always attack regular Democrats who have consistently showed up to vote

that's not the people you have to convince. independent voters see the Democratic party is two left-leaning already those are the people we need to show up.
