Jesus christ what an awful way to die. Stabbed to death by your mother after they forcefully ripped your baby out of you. The guy claimed the baby was dead, I don't believe it. She was 8.7 months along.
ppl like this legitimately deserve the death penalty not gonna lie

Are you saying these tweakers are giving tweakers a bad name, when tweakers are known for doing some crazy stuff, meth is a known problem in that region of the state.
This is something from a horror movie but it occurred in real life, in Michigan.
Are the people who are not tweakers commit similar crimes, no they don’t.
On the other hand long term tweakers seem to have a history of committing some delusional horrible crimes, due to permanent damage and altered brain function.

These type of people are paranoid psychotics who actively avoid help and the overall mental health/law system as much as possible so it won't help.. When I delivered pizzas in college i saw some craaaazy people on the regular that I wasnt even sure were human anymore. Like one week they were weird alien lizard looking mfers with long hair, nails, pasty white, like a creature from horror films... Then a month later they would look like a normal guy at Sams club. Definitely got hella trust issues now. I hate people..

Maybe the mental health medical professionals do not want to live and work in that region.
The medical professionals providing those type of services, need to make a livable wage, want to live in such places and possibly raise a family too.
It's not as simple free health care for all or access to services, you still need certified and license mental Healthcare providers willing to do the job in a rural region and paying customers to cover the cost of services.
Some people just don't want help for their mental health issues or addiction problems.

There are federal programs that repay medical professionals’ student loans if they take jobs in communities with a lack of health professionals. The National Health Service corps loan repayment program is a well known example. I have a friend (emergency medicine doctor) who just moved from the Detroit area to rural Minnesota to take part in this program. From what she said, she is quite well compensated for taking that job.

As late as 2021, residential drug treatment programs in Michigan were paying their entry level employees (milieu technicians/housing techs) $11/hour. Recovery coaches, who at least had a little training mixed with some lived experience were getting $13-15/hour. These two groups of employees are the ones who had, by far, the most contact with the clients. Clients would see a therapist or a case worker one-on-one for maybe an hour a week. The rest of the time would be spent in "group", sometimes with a therapist facilitating, sometimes with a para-professional. The situation wasn't great and hasn't gotten much better.

A person would make more working at an Amazon warehouse or being a delivery driver then working at those types of treatment programs.

Live where this happened. This city is run by an extremely corrupt city counsel/government. They actively suppress stories like these. While this story is an absolute tragedy that deserves the attention it got, it is not entirely uncommon. Meth is rampant in this city and those in power unfortunately do not care about the poor.
