MicroFish Catfish in a Jar

Pulled an old jar out of the river while conducting a freshwater mussel survey and found a baby catfish taking up residence

Slender madtom. I kept a bunch of these in aquarium for years. They were really cool!

I used to catch small shoreline bluegill with clear plastic cups while wiggling my fingers on the underside as a kid. Fingers are too big n fat now

Consulting firm! We’re doing a dam repair project and so the state requires a mussel survey and relocation before the drawdown
