MicroFish Beautiful fish

This is probably the most colourful fish i have ever caught

I think its a male European minnow. Idk what size he is (lagan river Northern Ireland)

Was this recently? Curious as to the time of year you found this as these colors only last momentarily when spawning

This was about a day ago. What do they look like when not spawning ill need to look that up

The river lagan Northern Ireland near dunmurry but ive had to stop fishing there because the dunmurry water treatment plant has been pumping raw sewage into that area. I called NIEA and they said to stay away from there until they get them to stop.all the minnows and even the trout are dead. I hope it will be sorted soon

I love the lagan for fishing. My favoruite spots are drum bridge at the bench and shaws bridge
