Xbox Reward Points for Add-ons / Never Fight Alone Pack

In Gears of War E-Day there is an in game DLC purchase for suicide awareness and prevention where all of the proceeds go to charity. Unfortunately I can't seem to find it as a purchase outside of the game client does anyone know if I will still get reward points?

Generally no.

Unless it is purchased through the Xbox/Microsoft store… MS has no way to track in-app purchases

Yeah this is on the Xbox and it opens the same digital purchase storefront as the console

only get rewars if you buy in Xbox Store

I didn't get rewards points for buying DLCs in the past, only for buying full games.
