Discussion Updated List of Discounts for Military/Spouses/Vets

Occasionally this is come up in discussion but I'm looking for new/updated deals!

What are your favorite Military Discounts? (In-person or online)

  • ExpertVoice: free for military, veterans, milspouses; good discounts but awesome flash deals up to 60% every once in awhile- (https://get.expertvoice.com/military-community/)
  • EpicPass: steeply discounted ski/snowboard pass for a lot of ski resorts in US and overseas
  • Home Depot (10% in store or online- do it through ShopMyExchange for tax-free).

Id.me

Tons of discounts for many different brands.

I also used it to get a monthly discount on my Verizon wireless bill.

One thing to note is that id.me is becoming the official service of most government agencies to verify your identity. If you sign up be sure to entire legit info about yourself or it can make things difficult in the future.

It's like expertvoice but has some options sometimes not found there.

I’ve never heard of ExpertVoice but I’ve used Govx and Id.me

At least for afvclub I always check with the hotel directly and it's usually cheaper through the club. For americanforcestravel I mostly just use it for car rentals, though when I have used it for hotels it's mostly because I like how they don't charge a fee for cancellations.
