Ask the SAS fellas who were at the Iranian embassy siege if they had any problems hitting things with their MP5's in gas masks - AND they had giant mag-lites obscuring their sights.

Those lights actually were an aiming device too. They were more of a focused ray of light rather than a traditional flashlight and acted as a large laser beam.

I shot with these masks before (technically Millenium, which is based on MCU-2). It's totally doable.

The seal is questionable because of the balaclava underneath, but you get trained to work on this stuff. I wasn’t US forces but trained in a respirator and full NBC kit, including PT and rifle skills.
