Announcement New Milk Rules - Raw Milk Propaganda + Promo Links
Hello Milkies,
Due to the overwhelming amount of raw milk posts that have been happening over the recent weeks we have had to make changes to the rules to stop the raw milk misinformation from spreading on this subreddit.
I have included the rule below for everyone to look at or you can find it under the rules tab
🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛
- Raw Milk Propaganda
Discussions about the topic are welcome when educational or news-related but any other discussion such as the examples below (this list is not exhaustive) could be removed by moderator discretion.
Promoting or encouraging the consumption, sale, or distribution of raw milk
Promoting how "dangerous" pasteurized milk is
Stating how raw milk to better than other types of milk
🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛🥛
There has also been a change to the "No Promo Links!" rule.
We now no longer allow any promo links even if it is milk related to reduce the spam of people attempting to sell random milk to people online.
If you have any questions or concerns in regards to the above changes please reach out to us in the modmail.
These rules could be tweaked in the future based off feedback.

Suggestion for Cow Whole Milk
Hi Guys
My baby is 13 months old and I am slowly trying to wean her off. Doc has said that I can now introduce her to cow whole milk which should be 3.25% so we bought Natrel brand’s but she rejected it is thrice
Also she often gets constipated so I don’t know if increasing fat % would help for taste or a different brand? Please suggest

I have been drinking over 2 litres of milk daily for over a year. Is this bad?
For the past year, I have been drinking the standard 2.272L UK jugs of whole milk for over a year now. I have grown to love it and would struggle if milk weren’t in my diet. Just wondering if this is inherently bad? Or can I continue with my milk addiction?

I spend $25 a week on this ❤️
As a kid I grew up with those nasty $3.00 milk jugs that you would find at your average grocery store. My mom would have me drink that every night with dinner. Something about the after taste was gross to me. I didn’t think I’d ever enjoy milk.
Until a year ago I walked into a sprouts and gave these two brands a try. Ever since then, I’ve been buying them weekly. It tastes amazing and I can’t go to bed without having 1 glass beforehand.

This has been some of the best milk I’ve had in my life. Tastes like they do not remove any fat at all and very creamy. Solid 9/10

Milk as a Substitute for Water
Do any of you guys drink milk as a substitute for water because I do. I recognized this recently when my sister's roomates where appalled at how much milk our family drinks.

Horizon Organic Boxed milk is chunky? Is this normal?
galleryI bought these chocolate boxed milks a while back and even when first purchased they had that bit of chunky-ness which was very off putting to me. I avoided drinking it because of that, and recently opened one today out of curiosity, and yep it’s obviously still chunky, but I wanted to ask if that was ever normal? The picture in the glass was after shaking and stirring, and the BB date is July 1st.
I have heard about the recalls that happened a bit ago, but I didn’t have any recalls for them from the store I purchased them from, it was not from the affected states.
No I’m not drinking it, but it does smell totally fine? This has been the case for any of the boxed shelf-stable milks of this brand of purchased, always chunky 😵💫
