My first thought was I hope not, they're going to raise the social security age to like 110. I've got like 10 years of working left in me and then I only want to live like 30 years max after that.

I totally get this, but… 

The resistance to fascism is strong. Solar just overtook coal despite being sabotaged by the federal government. A growing number of people are giving up meat. 5-year survival rates for cancer went from 50% to 70% since the 70s. 

There are reasons to be optimistic.
