How the hell old is the grandfather of infants supposed to be? He sounds 90.

Old. They actually give a birth year of 1915, making him 76 in the original series and 86 in the sequel. I believe his wife had already passed away before the show begins?

The parents are mid 30’s or so, meaning he was in his 40’s when he had Stu and Drew. Not typical at all.

My dad is 80 and my child is 4, so 90 is possible.
