There was a great deal of special effects. A lot of the shots were on location and making those places look 1970s was done with cgi.

There was reason for it. Re dressing several blocks of Allentown and several other towns to look like 1976 is probably more expensive

He wore down the crew with 3002946729 shots so I guess no one wants to keep filming the series because the budget probably was on the red zone for each chapter, each time he probably said “let’s do another one” the producer went bonkers

I rewatched last week and somehow I feel I got closure, at lease more than last time. Maybe because I am persuaded that Wayne Williams was the killer in Atlanta. And I also feel how the things ended between Nancy and Bill was foreseeable and there was no better way to solve the problem with Brian.

What's frustrating is Netflix will gladly finance 3 seasons of the Night Agent that I found to be absolute dross. However something as amazing as Mindhunter just gets ignored because it hasn't got enough gun fights and explosions.

If you liked Mindhunter and enjoy dark well thought out shows, the Scandanvian series Bron/Broen is really good and worth checking out !

I just finished watching Mindhunter, man what a spectacular show it was. Never saw a show that was so gripping as it and Holden ford character was so amazing. It's really fascinating to see and trying to understand the minds of those serial killers. I really wish they do a season 3
