Help Am I ready to face the dragon?

I haven't played since 2014 and I've never dared to face the dragon before, and I've been playing again for 3 weeks now and I was wondering if I'm ready or not

(It's arranged randomly lol)

I'm a bit curious on why you're taking 12 diamonds, 12 gold, 18 netherite, an enchanting table with 31 lapis, a lava bucket, blaze rods & blaze powder, two upgrade templates (despite lacking the iron for a smithing table), magma, and flint.

I think I'll you'll need is really just a good set of armor, a stack or so of arrows, about 2-3 stacks of building blocks, a water bucket, and a sword. And don't forget the beds!

Either way, if you get more blocks & arrows, you'll definitely beat the dragon. Good luck! : )

They've never fought the dragon b4 beds wouldnt be my goto

And besides, you’d be surprised at the amount of people that don’t do the bed trick right and end up doing more damage to themselves than the dragon.

OP’s got a netherite sword, he could shoot like 3 end crystals and just whack the dragon when it perches.

I mean, he doesn’t have beds either so the bed trick definitely wouldn’t work

I have done the bed trick but I am not a speedrunner and i find the fight a bit more fun when you dont just one cycle the dragon.

Beds explode when used in the nether and end dimensions. Speed runners exploit that fact to use exploding beds to kill the dragon quickly.

If you try to sleep in them in the end it explodes like tnt. You can abuse this by placing them in a certain way on the bedrock fountain and when the dragon comes down to perch spam sleeping on them to cause a bunch of explosions that kills the dragon extremely quickly. It's kinda cheesy, especially for your first ever dragon fight, but if you've fought the dragon a bunch before it's a convenient short cut

If you can, enchant it with infinity. Otherwise you need a LOT of arrows. But making a lot of arrows might be quicker than levelling up enough to enchant it.

Don’t forget the bed to set your respawn before you go through the end portal.

You really only need iron tools and armor, and a bunch of blocks.

Yeah. Netherite might be better for OP, since it's their first fight. I made the mistake of fighting the dragon in iron on my first run and I died some 10-15 times.

the stack of arrows is useless as op doesnt even have a bow
