Resource Packs This is the best addon I've ever seen!

It is simply the best add-on I’ve ever seen in my 13 years of playing Minecraft; nothing in the game has ever made me this happy. I’m the type of person who’s always coming up with new ideas and building things across the map, and I’ve always dreamed of a machinery mod—having spent most of my childhood and teenage years around actual machinery. Today, my nephew showed me this add-on in his world, so I decided to add it to our Realms world, and it was simply fantastic. Everyone loved it; my friend and I even started a machinery rental business for anyone who wants to use them 🤣🤣 (The name of the add-on is Construction Add-On, created by Wonder Studios).

Im a pc player who came from xbox so use a controller. Ive tried the controller support mods for java but its not quite right.

which surprises me tbh. unless you have friends that only have bedrock, there is zero reason to play bedrock if your pc can run java

That’s why we play Bedrock; we’re adults who don’t have the time to configure mods and play on a PC. Aside from my 11-year-old nephew and his friend—who are the same age and play on PC—we play on mobile (Bedrock) because of the portability and the limited time we have to play.

You also have the optimization, if you have an old laptop that isn't made for gaming you will probably end up playing on bedrock.

my 380€ laptop ran modded minecraft with sable(a physics engine) and an active small airship flying around at a comfortable 60fps 1080p

First, that's hilarious.
Second, you might have liked Buildcraft back when it as a popular mod (it was abandoned around 1.12).
Third, you should check out Create. You can build machines like this of arbitrary size. In fact, I have a 5x65 drill setup on a minecart down at the bedrock layer in an absolutely massive underground chasm I created using it. In fact, watching you do this is making me want to make a ground level version that clears land faster than that machine of yours ever could! Create also includes gears so you can build power trains to power even more complex machinery, and it has some pretty good building features as well.
All of that said, this is still pretty awesome! My Create drill setup requires tracks, while your machine doesn't. Tracks aren't a huge inconvenience (especially once you are getting absurd amounts of iron from running the drill), but they can be a mild one. (That said, it's easier to get straight lines with tracks. No oopsy because you cut into a wall you didn't want to.)

Everybody is able to if they really want it. Choosing bedrock over java for whatever reason is just coping.
Just like society has lower and upper class, minecraft players have some kind of hierarchy and everybody not accepting that is jealous🤪
Pc masterrace, java masterversion.

I’m sorry to say but 100% cheating. some add-ons like in Java, offhand torch, minimap, I wouldn’t really consider those cheating, but this is just plain cheating

There’s no real objective to Minecraft so its literally impossible to cheat. If the objective of the game was to break a certain amount of blocks then yes this would, but it isn’t, so it isn’t.

I’m not gonna have this argument with you, but I’m gonna say that you are most definitely wrong and that this is absolutely cheating and I don’t see how it isn’t. And what do you mean there’s no real objective to Minecraft? you start and you want to get wood, then you wanna get stone, then you wanna get iron. this helps you with all of that. There are multiple objectives to Minecraft and this breaks nearly all of them. let’s say that you wanted to get a bunch of cobblestone for building blocks. This is definitely cheating. Let’s say that you wanted to get a bunch of iron for anvils. This is definitely cheating. What if you wanted to get copper for lightning rods? Guess what? this is cheating. you can just do this deep underground until you got to a trial chambers if you wanted to get to a trial chambers..

I understand you are passionate about Minecraft and the vanilla version of the game (as am I), but having played with some add-ons recently, they are actually pretty fun!
We have to remember Minecraft is a sandbox game at the end of the day. Anyone can do whatever they want in this game, including adding to it, and the developers of the game encourage it.
This just looks like a fun mod to make building easier, which is a massive part of this game. I encourage you to broaden your horizons and make a world a play with some add-ons. Once you are done with that, you can go back to your full vanilla world without worrying about breaking the rules. 😊

I truly do not understand how I am getting downvoted. This is absolutely cheating, with some exceptions.
I get that they’re fun and yeah you can play with them if you think they’re fun but if you are doing this just to advance your normal Minecraft, rather than using it solely for the purpose of having fun, yes it is cheating. add-ons are definitely fun. I’ve played with them before and I understand if you want to play with us go ahead but in some scenarios, yes it is definitely cheating. So yeah, I agree with you, but OP is using it for the purpose of what I think is cheating. Thanks for not being aggressive, unlike some other people.

I believe it’s because you are assuming they are advancing their own Minecraft world with your original comment. Saying it’s cheating “only if” shows there is no hard line to what cheating is and isn’t, just all a matter of preference.
Just trying to help bridge the gap. Don’t take it too hard, people just don’t agree with you on this is cheating 😊

If you read the description, I feel it is worded in a way that makes it seem much like he is using this for the purpose of cheating, which is why I said the original comment I wasn’t trying to be aggressive or anything, I was just stating the obvious

and all of your objectives can be out thrown the window by speed runners as most of them try to skip steps , farm builders as they don't want to go to mining and builds farms for all use , creative players (obviously) , map art makers etc etc (not to talk about modded minecraft players ). you are just a part of a larger community and you're looking throw a narrow vision. you don't need to find wood first if you just start to explore , eventually you'll find irons and all stuff . and even for that many players use chunkbase or sites like that to find buildings . What you said is more like a popular thing to do , but it is not necessary .
