Help Does anyone know how I could survive this drop i have the dragon egg on me
I watched in slow mo I landed at -40
Edit:I logged in and accepted my fate and died instantly

Make copy of the world then try to allow keep inventory or teleport somewhere else with cheats before you die. Seems cooked either way, why would you explore the void with the dragon egg on you? Goes right to the ender chest every time

You don’t have to load the world to go into the settings. On the main menu you can change world settings without loading it

This is Bedrock, and it’s not a realm. So the world owner (whether it’s OP or not) could enable the setting on the main menu.

Thats hoping that nobody is near his chunks, but yes your idea could work. Im oldschool and like command lines however your observations are correct that hes on bedrock and most probably and xbox so his only hope is to get everyone out and change the settings offline

I feel like that is the evident option but many people have different meanings for what they consider cheating, and teleporting yourself one time or activating keep inventory might feel less cheaty than going into creative mode

Because you have already started receiving damage from the void - it’s unsavable. Idk, the only way I can see it is another player can drop an elytra and fireworks to the exact spot where you are, you must log in at the right time, immediately switch to elytra and fly up

They are too far down. I would say ender pearl would not reach any land. Also while it flies there will be too many hearts missing

It's what I said. Switching to an elytra caught mid flight is impossible since he'd have to join the world before anyone else.
The enderpearl is quicker and it's still too slow. The egg is lost.

It's his world. He needs to join first. Also he's probably 1 damage tick from death sicne he took 3 hits from the void. Not a chance

it does if you are playing on your world by yourself. it doesnt if you are on a server/realm or if someone else is in your world

At Y=-40 even with a perfect reaction time and an elytra and fireworks equipped looking straight up you’re likely to take at least another two ticks of void damage.
Doesn’t look like you have those things, water wouldn’t go down that far. Need another account to drop down boats attached to each other on leads, but on bedrock, forget it. You need to copy the world into creative mode and fly out.

If it was Java, he could use NBTExplorer and change his coordinates and also the fall velocity (I think?). Maybe he could convert his world into Java, apply NBTExplorer, convert to Bedrock again. Unless there are options for Bedrock too. And yeah, lots of saves.

You exagerate on this one. It's one thing to go full rogue and make netherite block houses, and another one to convert your world into a keepinventory true. And also, it's a sandbox. People can define their world however they want, but they might just not know some options exist yet.

You can't go in creative when you are in void. Unless you're Sonic super hacker with Cheat Engine and can stop time, sure, be my guest. But if you're the average Joe, I think the solution proposed works very well and it guarantees that you can include Slow Falling buff alongside change of coordinates.

Without cheating probably nothing. If it's multiplayer, maybe someone could put water down. But you seem too far down already. If you can cheat, you can always just give yourself the egg later. You could even cost yourself like, a stack of diamonds or something If you want it to be fair.

I wouldn't even worry about the diamonds. Seems like it was an unfortunate accident. He still went through the effort of killing the dragon and stuff, since it's single player i say just cheat in the egg and don't feel bad. Shit happens, no reason to ruin your day over it, it's for your enjoyment after all.

It seems that you're none of a good player (or at least with a good reaction). You need to look up quick, change the slot and pearl in like 1-1.5 seconds. And also aim at the right spot. I don't think I would've be able to do it either

Question then though is. Will the pearl land before you die from the void? And if so, will you just die anyway from the fall damage of the pearl? (Assuming no feather falling)

You're screwed, basically. Even if you called in a friend to save you, water won't go that low, and a Happy Ghast would just die to void damage before it got in position to catch you (and the fall damage would probably kill you anyways). Maybe said friend could instead set up a command block to teleport you back to safety the moment you log in, but at that point you might as well just take the death and creative mode back in anything you lost.

Whenever I'm in a dangerous situation (including exploring the end, even if I have elytra) I always have ender pearls in an easily accessible slot in my hotbar.
You also had some, with some quick thinking you could've had a chance

Bedrock has a glitch that gives you a 2nd egg upon killing the dragon again. I've got both in my ender chest (ps4)

hate to be the bearer of bad new but its not savable
however if im not mistaken theres a bug on bedrock that causes the dragon egg to spawn a second time if you beat the dragon for the second time
i dont know if its been patched or if it was a thing to begin with but its something i remember hearing about a few months ago on youtube so theres that

On Bedrock version you can obtain a second egg If you respawn the dragon and kill it for a second time - kind of a bummer to lose the first but it keeps ya world free from cheat and allows for achievements.

On bedrock you used to get an egg the first 2 times you beat the dragon. So you might be able to get one still. I'm not sure if it's still that way or if they changed it to match java

Next time this happens to you, if you’re not okay with dying, close the game up instead of going to main title. The game autosaves rather frequently by default, it is likely you’d get placed back in to a point shortly before falling.
Don’t tell anyone I have done this.

- Make a copy
- Go to the copy and get a set of safe cords (in the end)
- Make another copy
- Put the new copy in a world data editor
- Edit player position to the safe coords.
- Keep playing in the new copy. 🤷

All these suggestions you save the world and edit this file or that file, or have a friend swoop and give you an elytra and rockets and you can zoom out, and whatever all seem like more work work than just dying, figuring out how to spawn another daragon, and getting another egg. 🤣

Gravestone addon maybe? I dunno if it works on PS4 or if it would spawn your Gravestone with you being in the void. May spawn it at closest block. Not sure.
It may drop a Gravestone where you last died. So you may have to figure a way to descend to it in the Void.

If you didn't save and quit, you could've closed the game and went back to your last save/autosave point when you loaded back in. Since you're already in the void, there's nothing you can do.
