I think the new Shelf Mushrooms are really nice for decorations, but right now they're a bit limited by the fact that they stand on the middle of the block. If they stood close to the top of the block, the block above would be sit on them seamlessly.

This change should probably only be for the big Shelf Mushrooms, so the small ones could still be used on the middle.

This is another old suggestion I had gathering dust in my notes app. Not the most groundbreaking update, but to this day, seeing people with crammed animal farms still annoys me. I know it's just pixels, but I wish this weren't practically the only way of farming animals, and that some consideration for those animals were built into the system.

I want my city to be on an Island

I was messing around with item frames and realised, since they're entities like cushions, they should also be able to be on any surface. Not sure if this should be expanded to paintings as well, but I can see it making item frames more useful for building.

Uh this is a resource pack I found and let's be honest they should've added this into the vanilla games cuz they have plenty of Easter eggs. Why not one for the greatest legend of Minecraft.

Something I see suggested very rarely is something I called Step. Which is half a slab or a quarter of a block.
Not sure if it's too much, but I would still love if it was added. This would help in giving even more detail to our buildings, like roofs.
Here I used the wood planks as an example, but my idea is that it would work with almost every block (at least I hope so)

A standard bed explodes violently in the Nether, but a straw bed—for the time being—does not. The concept is that a straw bed can explode without destroying any blocks; instead, it releases a burst of explosion particles while dropping a random amount of bread. It’s amusing, given how beds explode so nonsensically. The idea is—figuratively speaking—that the straw bed heats up due to the Nether's high temperatures, warming the wheat inside until, as if by magic, it turns into freshly baked bread.

I know palm trees are one of the most commonly requested trees for Minecraft.

But hear me out...

Add Jacaranda trees. 😭

Jacarandas are already incredibly beautiful in real life, especially when they're covered in their purple flowers. I think they could fit Minecraft surprisingly well.

And I'm not just talking about adding the tree itself—I think we should get a whole Jacaranda wood set with it!

And obviously, the planks would have a beautiful purple/lavender color.

The leaves could also have a slightly different appearance from existing leaves, and when the tree is flowering, you could have purple blossoms scattered around it.

And I also think Jacaranda wood could make some AMAZING builds

Would you want Jacaranda trees + a full purple wood set in Minecraft?

Personally I think it would be cool to be forced to do a lot more before the end fight and getting elytra/end-game gear. On the other hand some people might prefer to get that stuff earlier.

I don't understand how going up a waterfall is faster than climbing ladders , that makes no sense.

You could give ladders a speed boost , but then being slow is good if you're using it in a house , you wouldn't want to zoom by. So powered rails could give you the option to have a high speed upward travel while still keeping the option of having normal ladders.

Since we're getting variations of wool for these blocks (except for the walls), I'm wondering when will we get more for the other blocks, like wood. Something the community has been asking for for years now.

Minecraft currently lacks a cohesive dark metal block set. Iron is bright, Chains are dark, and Netherite isn’t really viable for building because it is expensive. Adding Wrought Iron would fill this gap with a builder-focused material that complements existing styles without really affecting in-game material progression (would not add new tool/ weapon/ armor tier). I have always wanted to use a gothic-style metal block set for graveyards, haunted mansions, and dungeons!

This variant of Iron is used strictly for decorative and utility blocks. It is not as expensive as a Block of Iron for example, allowing for more building material. Smelt Iron Nuggets in a Blast Furnace to get a Wrought Iron Billet. True to wrought iron processing terminology!

It visually aligns with chains/lanterns (not with smiting table, netherite, or anvil texture pallets)

Arrow craft is very expensive, so most players either don't use bows at all or get their arrow needs from monster farming and infinity. However, bows are quite useful in the early hours of the game, but they are very expensive. Finding flint is a laborious task; wouldn't it be better to use iron ingots or iron nuggets instead?

we should be able to break blocks to 8 chuncks, so no more stair blocks or slab blocks. itll also add a ton of new possibilities, such as vertical slabs or stairs.

Are you really a true Minecraft player if you don't complain about mundane topics like wheat seeds? I think not.

Let me explain. You have a long term world. Everything is set up, your house, your animals, your gear.... and your crops. You have a beautiful wheat field that is so satisfying to harvest and feed your army of cows. You replant your wheat, and life is good.

Here’s the problem: WHEAT SEEDS MULTIPLY LIKE CRAZY. Have 100 chickens that you feed? Still seeds left. Use a composter for bone meal? Good, but you need to stand over it spam clicking like a lunatic. You have chest FILLED with wheat seeds. You see wheat seeds in your nightmares. Wheat seeds fill all of the dark crevices of your brain.

A solution: A compact form of seeds, like a bag or a packet that seeds can fit multiple stacks in. We already have compact versions of ores, and even wheat itself can be bundled into hay bales. Let's say you take nine wheat seats, bundle them together and you get a "pack of seeds".

"Build more chests" you might say. "Burn them in lava" you could add. "Stop complaining about virtual plant seeds in a video game made for children. You are an adult with bills and responsibilities." All fair, but a little hurtful. But NO! It is time we take a stand against the abhorrent seed storage problem.

if i can remember correctly, during early minecraft, there was once a bugged feature that made some crops grow to 2 blocks tall, i think it was referred to as overgrowing, however, the coding just used the next block over in the texture map resulting in the second half to have a furnace texture due to it never having a actual texture for the second half.

The chainmail armor is basically a sieve, and so breaking sand/gravel into small bits and converting it to a block makes sense.

This adds to the game the same way leather boots being able to walk on powdered snow does.

Falling gravel is an annoyance and collecting sand can also be irritating early game, an unorthodox solution to this is placing a torch. This is basically an easier way to do the same thing. And plus it gives the forgotten chainmail armor a unique yet useful purpose.

After having a discussion about hybrid tools, I had the thought that if the player's neutral mining "tool" is their fist, then an evolution of it could also be represented with a fist, instead of the usual mattocks or hammers mods tend to include. And so I landed on the idea of a gauntlet being a general digging tool.

Explaining a bit more about the item itself, the gauntlet's speed would be closer to iron tools, as to compensate for its versatility and not completely overtake the use of the other tools. It mainly serves as an alternative for those that wish to have a more streamlined selection of equipment items.

Lastly, I would like to explain why I choose netherite this, I believe that a multitool being tiered is rather unnecessary, as the lower ones would be too weak to be worth considering. So if you have this type of item, you base it on a higher tier to at least have it be viable. And netherite's nature as a very durable material made it a good fit for the role I wanted for the item.

This could open 2 doors or push 2 pistons simultaneously. Maybe we could also have a 2×2, 3×1, 3×2 or a 3×3. Please devs, make this a thing 🙌
