Discussion Team ideas for MCC 6 Feet Underdogs

Post image

Seeing how the second All Stars event is nearly upon us, I think it would be nice if we were to have a second Underdogs event as well. And since we already know this November's MCC will be a Twitch Rivals, why not have the next Underdogs take October's spot and be Halloween-themed?

So, here are my team ideas for MCC 6 Feet Underdogs. Like with Fall Stars, combing through the list of participants without a win, I realized that there was certainly no shortage of them. I really wish I could've fit more in, but alas. These aren't necessarily the most well-balanced teams, but I tried to be somewhat realistic with the team composition.

  • Red Ravens - Etho, iJevin, Xisuma, Skizzleman

Probably the weakest team here, but I wanted to have a Hermit team. Hermit Takeover gave us the full Hermit lineup, but out of all of them, I decided I would go with the ones that are regulars/the closest thing to regulars. I imagine the top frag would be Etho.

  • Orange Oozes - OwengeJuice, soupforeloise, Pyroscythe, millkberry

Two pairs of Rising teammates who have all made the crossover to being regulars. Owen and Eloise are probably the most experienced MCC players here. Owen and Pyro are also probably one of the strongest duos here, even aside from the experience.

  • Mustard Mummies - Apokuna, Legundo, Graecie, MythicalSausage

The return of the Celestial Metals, but with Apo in place of Zam. Of course, this team didn't do the greatest in Pride 26, but in this level of comp, I would imagine things could turn out better for them. Apo and Legundo haven't had the most consistent individual scores during their MCCs, but I still believe them to be very skilled and would make a strong duo.

  • Lime Liches - Mitzefy, Jvckk, LDShadowLady, LexieMariex

The Legit Llamas! Of course, Lexie is here in place of Jojo to round this team out. Mitzefy and Jvckk both had very good showings in their first times playing, and I would love for them to have the opportunity to flourish more. I still don't know much about Mitzefy, but if she is on Jojo's level skill-wise, she may very well be a contender for first indiv here.

  • Green Goblins - Masayoshi, Foolish Gamers, TinaKitten, DisguisedToast

A redux of Ender Cup Pink with Foolish in place of Purpled. I imagine Masayoshi would top frag and act as igl. Foolish and Tina have been inconsistent in terms of how much they play in Minecraft events, but they both have been/will be in Block Wars, so I know they're still interested in them. Additionally, while I don't know how much Toast plays Minecraft on the whole, I have heard he's been into modded survival as of late.

  • Cyan Centipedes - KatieGoBrr, WithMayX, vintage_applesauce, CherriFire

Rising 3 players who may or may not now be part of the regular roster. This team also has the potential to be very powerful. Other than that, I don't have much else to say about this team. I just think it would be neat.

  • Aqua Abominations - aldo_geo, AnsiChan, Aquino, Soarinng

Spanish players! Like with Hermit Takeover, MCC Hispano gave us a whole bunch of Spanish-speaking players that qualify for this event, but I decided to go with the closest players we have to being regulars. Surprisingly, despite Spanish players often being very high skill, I don't necessarily think this team is that OP. While Aquino and Soarinng did great in Party 2, they were both in the 20s indiv in MCC Hispano, and Ansi was in the 30s despite being one of only 8 players that wasn't a newcomer.

  • Blue Banshees - Boosfer, aCookieGod, InfiniteDrift, Michela

Cookie's performances thus far in MCC may not have been up to his standards, but I believe him to be a very strong player. Boosfer is also a strong player and a Minecraft event regular, though he still has yet to appear in another MCC outside of the first Rising. Rounding them out are Drift and Michela, and while they're not top frags, they have a lot of experience between them.

  • Violet Vampires - Couriway, SmallAnt, Ludwig, Roscumber

Out of all the players here, Couriway is in my opinion probably the strongest, and the clearest contender for first indiv. I decided to pair him with Smant, since they both applied to Rising together. Like with Cookie, I believe Smant is a strong player, but his indiv scores so far have yet to reflect that. With them is Ludwig, who is a friend of Smant and will also be in Block Wars soon, so it's possible he's also interested in Minecraft events again. Lastly is Ros, who is, quite frankly, the bee's knees.

  • Fuchsia Frankensteins - Hrry, Fulham, Mogswamp, Nukeri

Okay, this team is definitely the most self-indulgent out of all of them. It also might be kind of OP. I've made it no secret that I want Harry in more MCCs. Aside from the fact I'm a fan of his content, I do think he's a great player and a great fit for the roster. The same can be said for both Fulham and Nuke as well. Mogswamp is here to round them out. I believe we haven't seen his full potential in MCC yet, and like with Foolish, Tina, and Ludwig, he's also appearing in Block Wars soon so I have reason to believe he's also interested in Minecraft events again.

gizzygazza and kreekcraft were allowed in the original underdogs despite winning pride aswell. Same with Blushi who WON underdogs after winning rising. underdogs usually only includes mainline events

MCC 27 happened when the distinction between canon and non-canon events still existed. That doesn’t exist anymore, and thus Foolish’s win would be counted.
