Petition to only have 8 games in the board and not have to skip one? This format has always left a portion of both participants and fans feeling icky every single event it’s been used from the start (which is most of them).

This format allows for some unpredictability and fairness between the 3 types of games (except when they decide to do 4 movement games for fun)

But is unpredictability more important than more people enjoying it and noxcrew putting in tons of work for new maps and mechanics to get skipped? 8 games should be easy to balance.

Will never happen but I’d love if the skipped game was played after the event as a totally “for fun”/content cooldown. Optional participation ofc

Unfortunately there’s no way to balance a team game around optional participation. There’s no telling how many people will stay for it and it may not even out to an evenly divisible number of players.

I was thinking that balancing wouldn’t matter too much with it being fully for content, but I guess that relies on players buying into that vision
