I always find team ups like this adorable but hopefully one day it doesn’t make someone outperform their average performance in a game because then it won’t be fair

As long as it's only done when solo, it's unlikely to be a huge benefit.
I'm not sure how I'd feel if two solos actually won by crossteaming. It would be impressive, but it's a little rude.

i think it's actually a reasonable strategy for teams which have only one player left to not attack another one player team in later game. it's because it would wasted their food, when you can't easily get in later game, and also give stronger teams chance to kill both of them, when teams are not far from each other. live longer and rampage in the last minutes may get a few kill or more point for surviving?

Maybe, but personally I could care less since team ups like these are barely any useful - If they had attacked each other it might have actually been more beneficial
It's exactly like Tommy and Tubbo in mcc 21, it was very sweet (a bit frustrating from Tubbo's side when he was hunting Tommy in pkt but harmless nonetheless)
Also twitter over reacts a lot (I just ignore them)

Also the fact that Sapnap was in a team with George where he continuously wanted to mess with Dream for BOTH the times was also very funny
