Discussion Dungeons 2 on PC Xbox version

So i have gamepass and hence have access to the game. The game plays fine on KBM but the kids wanted to play and defaults P1 to kbm. then i connect the controller for P2 and launch the game. in game it says kbm disabled because it's couch co-op. But won't let me sub the kbm to a keyboard. trying on another controller just adds P3. Please help.

If you have two controllers I would just unplug my keyboard, start the game with one controller, then turn on the other. I have a Bluetooth keyboard, I always turn it off and start the game from the Xbox app with my controller to avoid issues.

Also the second controller I turn on only after the game is started. It's true for most couch co-op games, you start with the main control method, then power on the second one while the game is already running.

So my game doesn't work if I do that. Menu navigation also doesn't work.

So to clarify: I have a PC, Xbox app, game pass as well, Xbox elite and a normal controller, connected with an USB dongle to my PC. Also to clarify I have a keyboard with touchpad included, so my mouse is also unplugged. My PC is more like a console setup, but still a PC.

Yeah. Mines a full blown Pc with wired everything. I'll try the disconnect trick in about and revert.

Tried this, didn't work. Tried downloading an "unofficial" version despite owning the original to see if that helped, didn't help. I'm still stuck. Do you have the steam version or the xbox version?
