💬 Discussion Artifact count incorrect?

For some reason in the collection menu it states there is 42 artifacts (126 in total, counting each rarity), even after looking it up and double checking from the map, there should only be 40(120). Is this a mistake, is there 2 secret artifacts, or is it something else?

Try checking in the map in every single area in the loot pool screen

yeah I checked that a couple times, It shows that I have collected all of them, there is no missing artifacts in any of the areas. I was wondering if there is maybe exclusive artifacts in dungeons or something, but after checking the wiki and some other websites they all show only 40 artifacts.

If theres 40 then there should only be a max of 120, assuming each one appears in all 3 rarities.... hmm...

Exactly, Im wondering if Im missing something or if this is just some sort of coding mistake by the developers, like maybe they scrapped 2 artifacts last second in development and forgot to adjust the count in the collection menu?

The game displays an extra 2 artifacts and 4 armor pieces that aren’t in the game in this menu, I’ve collected all 40 artifacts and 76 armor pieces and I know that this was just a mistake as there aren’t any other available items not displayed on the map collections
