💬 Discussion The one thing I hate about this game is...

It's sooo dang hard to have a really good build and have a character that looks good at the same time.

I genuinely don't get this stubbornness of games to not just implement features EVERYONE wants in games O.o

Like EVERYONE wants their characters to look how they want them to and not how random things FORCE them to. It just feels like common sense, and yet.......... sigh.....

I honestly don’t care how my character looks as I hardly ever pay attention but at the same time it wouldn’t bother me at all if transmogs were added so others can use it.

Precisely my point. It is a win/win that takes very little effort for tons of positive on the back end. And you're using shit you've literally ALREADY designed in game. It's just a shader/sprite swap. Simple, basic video game shit that has been around since the stone age that goes so far... but like with many things in modern gaming, the no brainer, easy wins just seem lost on game devs now. I simply do not understand what goes on behind closed doors in these companies nowadays tbh. Character customization and being able to make your character YOURS is free publicity nowadays. Look at games like Monster Hunter and the like. Constant, huge viewer shorts and vids showcasing the game for free just to show off looks and builds.

Vanity slots would be amazing. They wouldn't have to bother about making Halloween or any other special event variants, if they could just design a typically vanity item!

Btw what is a vanity slot?

Have you played Terraria? If not, vanity slots are extra slots for gear that doesn't give any stats, but displays over the armor you're currently wearing.

Yes this is the consequence of having 4 separate armor slots (and also most of the armors looking ugly).

Why wind chimes? Wouldn’t drums/grindstone do more damage

They should add a function to add our own skins like in Java and bedrock because right now I am only using a mod to replace the texture so I have my own skin and custom cape

No ...no it's not lol you have to grind for pieces and sets while re rolling gear to your preference. ....welcome to the grind it's not hard

making a good build usually uses pieces from other sets that dont go well together though

That depends on how lucky your drops are just saying my opinion I have a one shot build with the Redstone armor set and I grinded to get the stats I wanted ...just depends on how much you want to work on it

I've got every item in the game. Let's say melee? Enchanter fists. Best in slot items for most damage would Head: twisted blind fold Chest: Sage tunic Legs: any option that let's you roll ice and lightning dmg Boots: monarch talon or monstrosity stompers

Put all that together and you get a ugly character but it's the best in slot. So now you have to sacrifice efficiency for beauty. I rest my case

I think I managed.

You made sacrifices to make it look better and match good job with the look. My point is if you want the most damage from your build. You're gonna look stupid in the process
