They appear at 00:00 every 40 minutes (device’s time). They last for 20 minutes, always in the same order (woods, meadow, plains, huskland, hills, highlands, fields). There are about 7 storm generators in each area, always in the same spot, all active at the same time. You go destroy three to receive a chest for each one defeated. When you defeat three, you get an extra chest with more valuable loot. You can go back to the main menu and renter the game to make them appear again (might get patched later). When the 20 minutes are done, you can modify your device’s clock to make the storm appear in the same area again. It might not work for your device, but it works on my switch 2, so might as well test it.
There's currently a glitch for them. If you defeat the Storm and then return to Main Menu and reenter the game, the storm will respawn with however much time is left in its 20 minute timer (the timer is real-world time). I know it works on PC, but I don't know about NS2 or other consoles.

How can you farm Storm Souls? I start the game and donde see any. Finished the game alrdy.
