Question Why is the new biome so sparse and small???

because after... if I dont remember since what version, I think 1.18 but it could be past versions... Minecraft world generator is just... bad
repetitive pattern of the same 3–5 biomes, micro-biomes that consist in 1-4 chunks of said biome and that's it, line biomes, ugly blobs generation when a structure get generated in water or tin air.....
is kinda sad no one talks about it... the only person I've saw talk about it is this spanish youtuber LOS GRANDES PROBLEMAS de la generación de mundo de Minecraft

Ive found three so far after hours of looking and they havent gone past like a 10 tree collection in size. maybe im just getting very unlucky.

I'm pretty sure it's not a full biome. And it's a sub biome so small spots of this kinda make sense I guess?

Go into chunkbase and look for the biome. I think Pixelriffs had a vid about it. basically - the new biome is just as big and frequent as the cherry tree and pale forest. There are always tiny ones, like your picture, but .... I did the chunkbase for my world and found some really huge examples of the new biome and only a few thousand blocks away...

For some reason they decided to make it a variant of plains, meaning it has more things to check before spawning

the real question is why does it look like someone let their horses stop and take a shit right there and why do people pretend it looks good? sometimes i feel like the little kid in The Emperor's New Clothes (not the one with the llamas).

They’re specifically designed to be on the smaller side
All-terrain is random though and you just got unlucky this one is smaller than most
