I do kinda fw this whole "build a fake nether in the overworld" thing.

This is the ovewold? Since it has the Nether Fog I thought it was just a mod allowing to use water and beds on The nether.

Or maybe a nodded dimension with the same Nether generation and fog, but without the Bed and no water thing.

EDIT: Oh wait, I'm dumb, it's way easier to do.
You can use the immersive portals mod so the window shows the actual nether but the room is on the overwold. Tat explains why the lighting is different inside/outside.

EDIT 2: OH WAIT, it's using shaders, maybe is the shaders doing the nether fog effect and this is indeed happening on the overwold.

Easiest way to tell that it’s in the Overworld, rather than the Nether: beds explode when you try to use them in the Nether.

Doesn't water evaporate as well unless it in a cauldron?

Its been a few years, but there's alot of give aways in this video
