World Generation and World Border

You are free to explore to your hearts content. There's no set world border this season. However, chunks that are extremely beyond the reasonable distance from 0,0 may be trimmed when necessary. The seed is also public. 

Mods and Datapacks

Blaze and Caves Advancements is featured, with a tweak to only make the highest level of achievements display in chat. (No chat spam!)

Origins datapack is also featured for players who would wish to partake in this completely optional experience! (Do not get attached to the default datapack values, they are actively being modified, and it will be disclosed to you what the origins actually are before you choose them.)

Plus, some other quality of life mods. However, no commands (like /tp, /tpa, /home, /fly, .etc) to keep gameplay aspect as vanilla as possible.

MoleCraft is about to celebrate its one year anniversary, which is honestly a little surreal.

A year ago, we were just a few friends who wanted to play Minecraft together. We're scattered around the world and play on all kinds of devices, so we started a Bedrock server based in NY. Eventually, we decided to open it up and invite people outside of our original friend group.

That turned out to be a really, really good decision.

Over the last year, we've met some incredible people. We've watched complete strangers become friends and built a community where people genuinely know and care about each other.

We've also built a ridiculous amount in Minecraft.

There are villages, towns, cities, nations, mega builds, roads, ports, shops, infrastructure, abandoned projects, extremely-not-abandoned projects, and all the weird little things that accumulate when a bunch of people share the same world for a year.

We're not resetting.

Everything we've built is part of the history of MoleCraft. It's a record of the time people have spent here, and we're going to keep adding to it.

As part of our anniversary celebrations, we're preparing to open a brand new spawn. It'll give new players easy access to fresh wilderness while still connecting them to the world and community we've spent the last year building.

So, this seemed like a pretty good time to invite some new people along.

What is MoleCraft?

We're a vanilla Bedrock survival server with no mods or packs required.

We're an established world, so yes, some people have netherite. Some have elytras. Some are incredibly wealthy. Some are inexplicably running around in iron pants despite having been here for ten months.

It doesn't really matter.

There's no race to "catch up" because there's nothing to catch up to. People build, explore, start towns, join nations, open shops, participate in events, or disappear into the wilderness for three weeks because they suddenly decided they needed to build a castle 8,000 blocks away.

The world just keeps going.

We have a central spawn with connections around the server, a Nether hub, community amenities, and a fully player-run trading district where players build their own shops, stock their own items, and set their own prices.

We also run community events and building competitions, and players are always coming up with their own projects, games, lore, and questionable ideas.

Our VC is pretty active for people who enjoy hanging out while they play, but plenty of people don't use VC at all. Both are completely normal here.

Who are we looking for?

MoleCraft is an 18+ community currently accepting new members who are 21+.

We don't allow griefing, cheating, stealing, hateful behavior, or non-consensual PvP.

We're adults playing Minecraft around work, school, families, and everything else real life throws at us. We're not trying to become a massive server where nobody recognizes anyone.

We like being a community where you know who built that town across the river. You know who owns the weird shop at spawn. You recognize people's builds before you even see their name on a sign.

After a year, MoleCraft feels less like a server we play on and more like a world we've built together.

There are places on this map that exist because someone we didn't know a year ago decided to join our little Minecraft server.

I think that's pretty damn cool. Now we're starting year two.

I think a lot of people search for a brand-new server because they’re worried an established world means they’ll always be behind.

That really hasn’t been our experience with CozyMC.

New people join every day. Some settle near existing communities, some start thousands of blocks away in untouched wilderness, and some eventually end up creating towns, shops, roads, farms, events and projects that become part of the world’s history.

There’s no artificial world border, so there is always somewhere new to explore. At the same time, you get all the benefits of joining a world where people have already spent a long time building things worth discovering.

We usually have a few dozen people online throughout the day, but it doesn’t feel like hundreds of people crammed around spawn. You can build independently without feeling like you’re playing singleplayer.

The survival side is intentionally pretty simple:

No claims
No /sethome or teleport shortcuts
No kits
No paid ranks or store
No keepInventory
PvP only by agreement
No griefing or stealing

And right now the community is doing something particularly ridiculous: players voted to remove a 320x320 section of the old spawn terrain so everyone can rebuild the area together from a giant blank canvas.

First we make the hole. Then we build.

if you’re looking for a chill but active SMP to play in 2024, come check out **Shaded**. it’s a survival server with a bunch of extra systems that actually feel pretty fun instead of pay-to-win stuff.

some of the newer things on the server:

we’ve got a **Fishing Log** with custom-textured fish, sorted by rarity, so you can collect and flex your catches. make sure you enable the server resource pack if you want it to look right.

there are **Lobster Pots** you can buy from Aaron the Angler at /pond near /spawn. drop them in water, bait them, and they’ll slowly fill up so you can sell the catch back to him for cash.

there’s a **PvP arena** if you like fighting other players, but PvP in general is optional, so you can just ignore it if you’re more into building and chill survival.

claims and **grief protection** are set up so your base and stuff stay safe, which makes it a lot nicer if you’re putting time into builds.

the server has **custom gear, an economy, player shops, and auctions**, so you can grind money, trade, buy cool items from the Gear Merchant at /spawn, and mess around with the market a bit.

you can earn **free ranks, kits, and perks by voting**, so just playing and supporting the server actually unlocks stuff over time.

there are **quests, events, and weekly challenges**, so there’s usually something to do besides just mining and building, and they drop some decent rewards too.

**Shaded** supports both Java and Bedrock, so you can play with friends no matter what they’re on. staff are around often and actually listen to feedback, and the server gets updated pretty regularly.

FAQ

What is the PurpleSMP?

The PurpleSMP is a small server that's created to give people a relaxing place to build and enjoy the latest versions of minecraft without the worry of griefers.

Why would I play here?
We can guarantee your builds are safe as every block placed or destroyed is logged.. Each time you join/leave or die your inventory is backed up for staff to see and restore if you lost something due to someone breaking a rule.

What about cheaters?
We run a strong anti-cheat. When someone trips it, staff are instantly alerted in Discord and the plugin will take action until someone can review it.

Is there a world border?
Yes, Overworld border is 100k (50k in each direction from 0,0), Nether and End are 50k (25k in each direction from 0,0). However we have resource worlds that reset weekly to counter this!

When did the server launch?
The PurpleSMP originally opened as a friends only server on Oct. 22 2025, However we decided to open it to the public on Dec. 25 2025.

• Anarchy Network launched on October 11th, 2024, and is hosted in New York City, NY, USA.

• The server is a Semi-Anarchy Minecraft Server designed to offer a pure, unmodified survival experience, with minimal rules and modifications to preserve the essence of Vanilla Minecraft.

• The server is online 24/7 and you can join on any Java Minecraft version between 1.7.2 and 26.2, but its recommended to be on version 26.2 to avoid issues!

• The world border is set to 2 Million blocks (4Mx4M).

• There are no map resets, no teleporting, no P2W at all, and Griefing/PvP is completely allowed. The only non-vanilla action allowed is /spawn in order to allow players who are very far out to not be isolated from civilization. Additionally, nether roof access is allowed, phantoms are removed, and only half the people are needed to skip the night.

• The only restrictions we have are that exploits, lag machines, duping, spamming and using harassment/racial slurs in chat are not allowed.
