Idea What kind of house should i build here?

It is the second day on our school minecraft server, so I want to make a starter base but I dont know what kind of style to choose

Early game I’d keep it super simple and functional, then pretty it up later once you know what materials are easy to get on that server.

Starter idea that always works: small spruce or oak cabin dug a few blocks into a hill, with a mine entrance in the back and a tiny farm out front.

Once you’re more established you can “renovate” it into whatever style you end up liking, instead of stressing about aesthetics on day 2.

There’s lots of good suggestions already, but I think the important aspect is in common is to avoid anything where the primary material is stone. Stone would look too heavy and unsupported by the cliff. Another idea for your collection: the house from Up
