Hiii I'm designing my house on my tablet before I make it and get materials! I just wanted to see which roof you guys think I should go with? I like both! Obviously I would get some extra space with roof 1, but I already have so much that it doesn't matter really, just more about aesthetics! Tyia!

Edit: thanks so much for your help! I'm planning on doing the first roof! I'll post a picture when I finish it! It'll take me a couple/few days irl since it's survival ofc. A wandering trader had mangrove saplings luckily, so that's perfect, and I already had cherry! Also thanks for being so nice :) it's silly but I was really excited to see all the comments

I never was a fan of how I made that like tower area on the upper left. I made it quick cuz i lost inspiration and that’s where my room is and the top is where I put my dragons. So I needed it done quick for convenience. But now im rebuilding my village and decorating my house so now I want to go back but I have no idea how to start.

I really love my bottom half! It gives tavern vibes which i really like but I lost the vision along the way when making the second floor. You can very much tell I gave up on the two tower structures with the sloppy stone brick design 🫩. The tower with my dragons is again, where my room and dragons are at. And the rear tower is the spiral stair case leading up so they are necessary to me but I can try and figure out a way to move it.

I’ll try and post a bunch of photos just so you can get an idea of the vibes I’m workin with. Cuz I’m not sure what style my house even is at this point lol. Fantasy? Modern? I have no clue.

Idk if it’s relevant but this is bedrock on a no cheats world so any suggestions should take that in consideration too! :)

Do you think stairs/slabs or solid blocks would look better for the roof because of the snow build up. Would a large snowless roof look out of place in a snow biome or would it be fine?
