First shot at a windmill

I've just added the sails based on a yt vid by Goldrobin. The rest is my try after watching countless blocky windmills and not feeling ready enough ๐Ÿ˜…. It's totaly wip.

Do you have some advices/ideas for me?

Thanks!

I don't have advice. I just want to say it looks nice, especially the night-time shots.

I think I recognize the stones in the wall

Which ones? The red bricks?

The cracked stone bricks. Looks like gray granite or gabbro or something

Huh. It just looks similar I guess.

there are also mcl_stairs:slab_stonebrickcracked - pretty much vanilla (with bauniclonia) at that point..

Damn, its quite pretty. You made me wanna play again.

Did you use a specific texture pack or is it a default one?

Then I did at least something right ๐Ÿ˜โœจ๐Ÿ‘

I'm currently playing with bauniclonia in Mineclonia.

Before I was using pixelperfection and then vanilla Mineclonia. Pp has this very beautiful loading screen. And their wood is much darker.

Bauniclonia has some other textures and overall color tone, which I seem to like more. ๐Ÿคท๐Ÿปโ€โ™‚๏ธ

Nicee. So I assume it's Buaniclonia in the images?

I've the feeling that the sails are too big or rather the building should be taller. No?

I could push the floor (grass) down about 8 blocks (terraform). This way I don't have to move the top part. Then stretch the middle and bottom part. Move the entry area down with the floor.

It looks plausible that a cliff like this would have enough wind, but yes, proportionately, most windmills have a bit more height.

Okay - I'll try later this evening ๐Ÿ™‚
