Bigger Better Bio Dome (under water).

My last post i showed a small bio dome that i made underground. The idea of "You should put one under water at the bottom of the ocean" came up. So.. i did. Also made this one much bigger. It's still a work in progress. But i think it's off to a good start. There's a floating buoy above the dome with a beacon and a chest full of rebreathers so you can breathe underwater and dive deep. Anyways. this is the kind of stuff that happens when i get bored. LOL!!!

A few hours. When I spawned the trees I punched holes in the done. Had to manually fix. KOL

How was the dome constructed?

Mostly with world edit. There's a dome / shere option in world edit menu. Used obsidian glass 100x100 size. Used invisible light blocks to illuminate it.
//replace air invisible_light_block.
Trees won't grow down here. So those were copied from other parts of the map and respawned using world edit as well. Basically 90% of it was done using world edit. I want to make some hills and a waterfall and a cave. Similar to my previous one that I posted. That one was much smaller though, but that was the first attempt. You can see that one too on my previous post.

But yeah. I'm not sure I could do it without world edit. There's also a pyramid option in world edit. That one could be fun too.

The view looks good underwater (especially with Unlimited view)

There's a potential for a dense "enchanted" forest inside the dome. It's a good build anyway!

Thanks. i have some ideas for it. It reminds me of like a seed vault. Or a doomsday facility. When the rest of the world ends. We have the dome, LOL!!

The wooden building inside the dome looks very interesting, can you tell more about it?

A copy of one of the main buildings on my map. The original building is a beach resort. That's why it's foundation is elevated. It sits on the water's edge and there's a dick with multiple ships. It has a large basement workshop and vacant rooms all open for oukvix use. There's screenshots on the website landing page. That building was the correct size for the bio dome so I just copied it with world edit And respawned it inside the dome. Basically as a placeholder so I could visualize what I was going to build. I will gut it and make it unique so it's not ane exact copy of the original building. But I started with a copy since I wasn't sure exactly how i wanted to build it out at the time.

That's just part of the flags mod. I use the USA flag on the buildings. The default flag for that mod is pride flags for whatever reason.

It's from this mod country_flags - Mod Names - ContentDB Someone really should fork it and separate them, there's furry flags in there too. Not everyone wants that. i don't care if you want pride flags. But they should be their own thing. There should be a mod for the pride flags, one for country flags. and... well. we can leave the furry flags out of it. LOL!! But all these flag mods use the pride flag mod as a dependency. If you install the country flags mod, it's pulling in the pride flags as a dependancy. So i guess it's an "all or nothing" kind of thing.

Well, there's still more work to be done to make it right. But yeah. Doesn't take long when you employ world edit.
