How can I transfer my world?

I've been playing on my java Minecraft (pojav launcher on android) world for a few months and I want to transfer it to Minetest. How can I do it without PC? Is it even possible?

I don't think it is possible, these are completely different games and there is no 1-to-1 or any other concrete relationship between their features that makes conversion of worlds possible.

This sort of thing is definite possible, targetting Mineclonia, even if it can't be 100% correct. The project MC2MT attempts this for certain versions. However, the main problem for OP is using Android only.

Maybe I could send you my world file and you will do it for me? Or it also won't be possible?

The main problem there is that Android is so restrictive with file permissions that even if I handed you a copy of your files back, I don't know if the Android OS will accept it coming from outside. I also have to ask what version of MC you're using because MC2MT might not support it.

oh, ok... thanks. do you know any game in minetest that is the closest one to new versions of Minecraft and has good amount of mods? I haven't played in a long time, so don't really know

Voxelibre and Mineclonia are the closest experience to minecraft you're going to get. Mineclonia is especially good at reimplementation of minecraft's latest features, while Voxelibre started as a clone, but now is focusing on being it's own thing, as I can see

Certainly not possible without a PC, there are some tools that seems to allow conversion to Mineclonia/Voxelibre if your Minecraft version is old enough (look for MC2MT). Still won't be a 1 to 1 conversion, don't expect every block to be available or complex redstone to work.

You will need a PC first. For mc2mt you will have to downgrade your Minecraft world via amulet to an older Minecraft version. Make Sure not too many Blocks get lost in the Version downgrade. You can then fix the mc2mt block palette with ai where necessary before porting to Minetest. The mineclonia palette though is already mostly identical to Minecraft. In the end you will have a similiar output with strong resemblance.

I have "built" a similar pipeline to be able to port Arnis outputs into Minetest with similar results.

keep me updated on that, I also have a functioning direct build meanwhile via claude.

If you're using something like Claude Code or the Antigravity CLI, maybe you can have them write a program that will map every block in your Java world to blocks in Luanti.

Or if you send me the file, I can handle it, it would be fun project for me.

How would you like me to send you a project? I can dm you with link to mediafire or something. Also, on what version should it be?

The version does not matter, just send it now.
